Mr. Dinesh Gupta founded Countronics in 1978 with a vision to build precision industrial instruments in India, at a time when most such equipment was imported. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, he combined deep technical knowledge with an entrepreneurial drive that laid the foundation for everything Countronics stands for today.
Under his leadership, Countronics grew from a small workshop into a recognised ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer with customers across India's core industrial sectors — water treatment, pharmaceuticals, electroplating, food processing, and heavy manufacturing. With over four decades of hands-on experience in electronics and instrumentation, Mr. Dinesh Gupta has been the technical backbone of Countronics — personally overseeing product design, quality standards, and customer relationships throughout the company's journey.
His founding philosophy — that Indian industry deserves instruments built to international standards at practical prices — remains at the heart of every product Countronics manufactures.

Mr. Prashant Gupta represents the second generation of Countronics' leadership, bringing a combination of engineering depth and management expertise to the company's growth. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies — one of India's foremost business schools — Prashant brings both technical fluency and strategic business acumen to the company.
He oversees sales, marketing, digital presence, and embedded firmware development — driving Countronics' expansion into new markets and product categories while maintaining the company's core commitment to precision, reliability, and direct customer service. Under his direction, Countronics has significantly expanded its digital reach, strengthened its B2B presence on platforms including IndiaMart and TradeIndia, and developed new product lines including advanced data acquisition systems and embedded controllers.
Prashant's dual background in engineering and management ensures that Countronics continues to grow without compromising the technical excellence that has defined the company since 1978.
Countronics operates from its manufacturing facility in Sahibabad Industrial Area, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh — one of India's key industrial corridors in the Delhi NCR region. Our facility houses in-house PCB design, component assembly, instrument testing, and quality control under one roof. Every instrument is individually tested before dispatch and is supplied with a wiring diagram and instruction manual.
