The 7210 is a panel-mounted humidity and temperature controller using the classical dry/wet bulb PT100 sensor method. It simultaneously displays and controls both parameters with relay outputs, with psychrometric calculations embedded in the microcontroller.
Two PT100 sensors — one dry and one wet with a water wick. Evaporative cooling lowers the wet bulb temperature. The difference between both temperatures is used to calculate RH% using psychrometric equations embedded in the instrument — no lookup tables needed.
