Countronics multi-channel temperature data loggers are used in industrial furnaces, heat treatment ovens, kilns, and autoclaves across India — providing simultaneous multi-zone temperature recording with USB pen drive data output for process documentation and quality compliance.
Heat treatment processes — annealing, hardening, tempering, stress relieving, carburising — depend entirely on temperature uniformity within the furnace. A single cold spot or hot spot can compromise the metallurgical outcome for an entire batch. Documenting the temperature profile of every cycle is not just good practice — for aerospace, automotive, and defence components it is a mandatory requirement under standards like AMS2750 and NADCAP.
Manual temperature recording with a single thermocouple and handheld instrument provides no picture of temperature uniformity across the furnace volume. Only a multi-channel logger that simultaneously records all zones can demonstrate that the entire furnace chamber stayed within tolerance throughout the cycle.
All four sensor types are supported simultaneously on the CT716 universal model — different channels can carry different thermocouple types in the same logger.
The CT716 16-channel logger is widely used for furnace monitoring. It accepts R-type thermocouples up to 1700°C, monitors all 16 zones simultaneously, and logs data to USB pen drive in Excel format. The CT708 is used for smaller furnaces.
R-type thermocouples (0–1700°C) for high-temperature furnaces. K-type (0–1250°C) for medium-temperature heat treatment. J-type (0–750°C) for lower temperature aging ovens. All accepted by CT716 and CT708.
CT716 monitors up to 16 temperature zones simultaneously — covering top, middle, bottom, and side zones in a single instrument. For more than 16 zones, multiple CT716 units can be deployed.
Yes. CT716 and CT708 record multi-point temperature data with timestamps to USB pen drive in Excel CSV format, providing the temperature uniformity data needed for process documentation and quality audits.
