The CT716 is a 16-channel microprocessor-based temperature scanner and data logger manufactured by Countronics. It accepts J, K, and R-type thermocouples and PT100 RTD sensors, records temperature data at set intervals, and saves it directly to a USB pen drive in Excel-compatible CSV format. No software is required.
The CT716 supports up to 16 temperature input channels simultaneously. The number of active channels is user-selectable from the front panel, so you can use anywhere from 1 to 16 channels depending on your application requirements.
The CT716 accepts J-type thermocouples (0–750°C), K-type thermocouples (0–1250°C), R-type thermocouples (0–1700°C), and PT100 RTD sensors (−100 to 600°C). Auto cold junction compensation is built in for thermocouples, and three-wire input is supported for PT100.
Data is saved directly to a USB pen drive inserted in the front panel as a CSV file that opens in Microsoft Excel with date, time, and all channel readings. No proprietary software or drivers are required to access the data.
No. The CT716 requires no special software. Data is saved to a USB pen drive in CSV format, which opens directly in Microsoft Excel on any computer. Simply remove the pen drive and insert it into your PC to access all logged data immediately.
The logging interval is user-settable in minutes and seconds from the front panel. You can set any interval from a few seconds to several minutes depending on how frequently you need temperature readings recorded.
Yes. The CT716 is widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, stability chambers, and cold rooms. It provides timestamped temperature records in Excel-compatible format suitable for GMP compliance documentation, monitoring up to 16 points simultaneously with no software required.
Yes. The CT716 is ideal for multi-zone furnace monitoring. It accepts R-type thermocouples up to 1700°C, making it suitable for high-temperature industrial furnaces, heat treatment ovens, and kilns. All 16 zones are logged simultaneously and saved to USB pen drive.
The CT716 has 16 channels with an LCD display, while the CT708 has 8 channels with an LED display and also accepts 4-20mA process inputs. Choose CT716 for more channels and LCD readout; CT708 for fewer channels with 4-20mA capability and a brighter LED display.
The CT716 is used in pharmaceuticals, food processing, industrial furnaces, heat treatment plants, autoclaves, HVAC systems, research laboratories, and cold storage facilities — any application requiring simultaneous monitoring and recording of multiple temperature points over time.
Yes. The CT716 supports both Auto and Manual scanning modes. In Auto mode the instrument scans all selected channels sequentially at a set scan rate. In Manual mode the operator selects which channel to view individually.
The CT716 is manufactured by Countronics, an ISO 9001:2015 certified industrial instrument manufacturer based in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, India, established in 1978. Sold directly from the factory with pan-India delivery and technical support on +91-9810536887.
